What days are you open?
We are open every Saturday 9am to 5pm all year.
We are open rain, shine or even snow!
We can open on other days only with group reservation
and $100 credit/debit card deposit for 10 or more players.
If we open on a Sunday the starting time will be at 2pm.
What do I wear?
Wear something that you don't mind getting dirty.
Camo long sleeve shirts & pants are the most popular choice.
Tennis shoes, cleats or any comfortable footwear that you chose.
Wash paintball clothing as soon as possible in warm water using Tide.
Do we have snacks and drinks for sale at our store?
Yes, we have cold Gatorade, soft drinks, water & snacks.
We grill & sell hotdogs around noon on Saturdays.
What are the requirements to play?
All players & spectators MUST sign a waiver.
Waivers are downloaded from this site on the Waiver Download page.
Typical minimum age to play is 10, we will allow 8 or 9 year olds "IF"
kids can follow directions & can handle the impact of the paintballs.
There is no maximum age limit as long as all are in good health.
What comes with the Birthday Party Packages?
To qualify for a "Birthday Party Group Rate," there must be at least
10 players renting equipment, reserved in advance & paid on one invoice.
That group would recieve 1 "free" case of 2000 paintballs. 
Birthday child will recieve 1 "free" Sledgehammer t-shirt with group rate.
We do not supply food or cake for parties. 
You may bring your own cake & food. We have picnic tables for you to use. 
Birthday Parties are not considered a "private" party & may play with 
other groups that day.
What if we have less then 10 people for our Birthday Party?
Smaller parties (less than 10) are always welcome to play, but will not
qualify for the group rate special. Cost is $30 + tax per player for a rental.
$15 + tax for those with own equipt. Paintballs sold separately at store.
How long are sessions for the parties & how long do paintballs last?
Typically parties are within 4 hours.  There are variables with each group.
It's impossible to give "exacts" for this subject, as each group is different.
Everyone shoots & plays differently.  Some play more cautiously & others
are trigger happy.  Depends on how many play &  the number of games. 
What fields can I play on & how are the games run?
We have 3 Scenario & 1 Speedball Field that are very different to play on.
The referees rotate to the different Scenario Fields during the day.
Games are usually "elimination" type & the team with the most
players left in a game are the winners.  Games last various times, depend
on how many play & how fast or slow people get out. 
We then regroup and start another game.
What should I expect when I arrive at Sledgehammer?
Enter store & have waivers on file. Pay for your rental package(s).
Air tanks are filled & any additional air refills are included in the rental fee.
Referee will brief players on safety/player rules at the store front.
Next, go to chronograph area to get feel of trigger & check speed of
guns & adjust accordingly.  Teams are picked & games begin.
Warning!.....You will have an absolute blast & may not want to leave!
What facilities do you have at Sledgehammer?
We have air-conditioned Store & Pro-Shop that sells supplies & snacks.
Covered front porch with ceiling fans & seating.  Picnic tables around store
area. Site built Bathroom building next to the store with 2 restrooms.
Please do not leave your pets in your car or bring them to our store.
